    Christmas Pastorale

This wasn't good enough for the 2008 Christmas album, but I thought I'd offer it to the membership here to listen to.

The Pastorale from the Christmas Concerto by Arcangelo Corelli

    Happy Holidays All.

Yes, Phil I am trying to work that out - you can download it, but I can't get the play feature to work.

An able interpretation of the Corelli, William.

I've always been struck by a faintly melancholy undertone
to this work. I wonder if he wrote it amid the same
dreary kind of weather we're having out my way... lol.

I haven't heard a lot of his works, but this does seem dreary for a Christmas piece.

I guess you could call the dreariness Pastoral, but it doesn't come off that way for me. To each their own.

The rendering is put together very well.
