Hallelujah - PLAY works now! ......it only took an 8-core machine.....

Hallelujah - PLAY works now! ......it only took an 8-core machine, 8GB of RAM, and a 10,000RPM HD to do it........that's all. So far I am LOVING my new PCAUDIOLABS DAW. This thing absolutely screams! I am still waiting for PLAY 2 because PLAY 1 is really a pain to work with compared to Kontakt, but hey, at least it works now.

So you're sequencing on this system, too? Is Cubase 4 the beta with 64-bit or you on 32-bit?

Funny, PLAY works fine here on a single core system with 2 GB RAM and a 7200 RPM HD. It has issues, but it works.

    Cheers.

I am on the Vista 32 drive for now. I will most likely wait until Cubase 5 and the 64 bit Powercore drivers to show up before I make the jump to Vista 64.

I was having waaaay to many issues (and needed a lot of tissues) with PLAY before my new DAW. Now no issues, hence no tissues.
