New Arvo Part score online to see

For the Arvo Part fans out there (like me) the complete score of his latest work (Symphony #4) can be found at this link and you can browse it for free!

The interesting thing here is that his Symphony No 4 "Los Angeles" has never been performed and recorded before. The world premiere will take place Jan 10 and 11 2009 in L.A.

I've browsed the score and it's really cool, the image quality is amazing.

I didn't notice that it was printable, did you print it?

If so, is it like a small pocket size study score or a full blown +/- 8.5" x 11" page display?

I don't have a printer at home but I will print it at the public library. Nice freebie, that's really cool. Thanks Arvo and Universal Edition!

I printed it to a PDF file, one double page at a time, where each single page is A4. But with a PDF printer you can select your own size/quality. Even at A1 the quality is superb.

What's the easiest way to recombine the pages once you have 31 separate pdfs?

What's the easiest way to recombine the pages once you have 31 separate pdfs?

I've used the free PDF reDirect V2 program, there's a merge function in it.

I used PrimoPDF to print the pages and append each print to the same file. Maybe PDF reDirect is easier, I don't know. It certainly looks interesting.

Thanks guys. I've been using PrimoPDF forever, and never realised it could merge prints into an existing document. Redirect turned out to be even easier than that. Can't believe I now have a free Arvo Part score - now there just needs to be a recording of it....
