    Strange Dreams

    Hi All

I have been busy lately: :-).

Here is a small piece for clarinets, horns, strings, and solo bassooon. It is a reflection of the unsetteled feelings that result from a dream that is not a nightmare per se, but merely disturbing.

That kind of dream... I think we all have them from time
to time... and the music very well depicts the unsettled,
almost disconnected-from-reality aspect you sense when
    reflecting back on one.

    Well done, Matt.

    Best,

Yes, strange! With an added intensity. Beautifully deconstructed and misplaced. A clear emotional message through music; most enjoyed!

    I really liked that Matt.

I especially liked how you didn't rush the theme/development. Nicely done.

What type of verb setting did you use on this if you don't mind me asking? I really liked it. It sounds somewhat like a Baroque or Chamber setup.

    Thanks for the listen.
    Happy Holidays.

    Re: Strange Dreams

It was very effective. It was a little disturbing but not frightening at all. A time when you ponder the meaning of your visions and try and make some sort of connection to the "real" world.

A very good all around effort.
