Where do you get convolution reverb impulses?

Do you know of any good websites for obtaining impulses for convolution reverb?

    Thanks

Re: Where do you get convolution reverb impulses?

Earlier in the year somebody (I can't remember who) put up a thread with a link to a site with dozens of impulses only I can't remember where it was. However, I did download them, they were free, if you would like me to send them to you PM me etc. They work fine here.

You might try searching the threads for this link, it can't have been more than 4 months ago. (or it was on CHAT)

Hi Owen, One site that offers ir libraries both for sale and also some freebies:
    http://www.samplicity.com/

another with free irs is Voxengo's Pristine Space page:
    http://www.voxengo.com/impulses/

Yes, buying the latest Apple hardware.

    I also found this...

The beauty of the IR is choosing what fits your composition. For example, choosing a large church for Pipe Organ, or a medium hall for a Quintet. Just think, "where would be the best place to play this piece?" Then go find it.

Worth a listen! There are a variety of EQ timbres built into the IRs, eg: dark, warm, bright, etc. Ive gotten some good results with these.
