Question Omnisphere Arpeggiator Sustain Pedal Stuck Notes ?

    Hello,

How are you ? Fine I hope. ;~)

While auditioning the ARP + Rhythm patches if I utilize the sustain pedal the notes continue to play on after I've taken my foot off of the sustain pedal, the notes continue on without ever stopping. ;-|

Is this normal behavior of the Omnisphere Arpeggiator ?

All is O.K. as long as I don't utilize the sustain pedal at all. ;-|

    Please help.

I have this effect whenEVER I use sustain pedal in Omnisphere. Hearing it live or listening to the midi recording is a mess, but when I bouce the midiobject to get an audiotrack everything sounds as intended and played. I think it is a simple sustain pedal bug in Omnisphere.. ;-(

No it isn't. It works fine here, but if you contact tech support with the details, they'll help you out.

I was hoping this was the case. ;-|

I will try to contact them tomorrow, I'm tired, I just got back in from Macworld 2009 Expo.

Thank You Very Much for your informative reply.

I have not contacted tech support as of yet.

    But, my bad !

    Duh !

I discovered than my MIDI keyboard controller was transmitting on 2 MIDI channels simultaneously.

    Channels 1 and 4.

    Thanks to MIDI Monitor. ;-|

Sorry, for the oversight and false alarm.

    Duh !

All is functioning properly with Omnisphere at this time.

    Thanks for your replies.
