    Watermark by Enya

This tune by Enya was used in our wedding in 1989, and a real good reason why we need Garritan Choir as soon as possible. Would have really liked to have used "Oohs" instead of the dime-a-dozen "Ahhs".

Well that sure brings back memories! Great job - you really got the nuance and the "space" that is so characteristic of her music. What an unexpected treat!

Another surprise, and a very nice one! You certainly have eclectic tastes, judging from your web page. Big Band, Classical, New Age, and Frank Zappa!
Great rendering! I hope you get your "oohs" sometime soon, or at least "imminently". Thanks for sharing this one, John

Boy, that sounds familiar. I have it on my iPod for relaxation while working.

I think you captured the essence of the song.

You did a real good job on it.

Enya has always been a favorite of mine... ever since she sang with Clannad. Watermark is one of her best, in my opinion, and you did a very good job of capturing the original feel of the piece. Very nice job!

A very lovely, tranquil setting of this, scheb. With Ron,
the sense of space and dimension in this was very well
    achieved.

    All my best,

Thanks everyone for your most kind comments! Amazing how old this tune is, and yet it STILL holds up!

As for the rest of my tunes on Google Pages, they have been deleted due to them closing down that site for "Sites" (booo!) But I have plans of reposting in other ways. heh heh heeeh!

    Hi, Schneb

And now I too have had this pleasantly nostalgic experience of hearing "Watermark" again thanks to your really nice rendition of it. wow--I probably haven't heard that Enya piece since the time when it was a best seller.

The choir sounded fine in it - not sure what makes "Oohs" less "dime-a-dozen" than "Ahs"--? hehe-- Plenty of "Ooohs" floating around aren't there?

Not sure what this meant, "...As for the rest of my tunes on Google Pages, they have been deleted due to them closing down that site for 'Sites'"..." What?
