Finale 2008, GPO N-Violas KS pizzicato problems

Working on a string orchestra score in Finale 2008 (Kontakt Player 2) and having problems with the GPO "N-Violas KS" pizzicato disappearing.

I playback in Finale without "Human Playback" and use an Expression (with proper associated data dump for the keyswitch) and the instrument goes silent.
When this occurs, I open the Kontakt Player and manually key switch to confirm that the sound is not working. Other keyswitch sounds (mute, trills, etc.) DO work, but not the pizz.

My fix has been to save and quit Finale. Then rerun the program and this usually works for a while then fails at some point.
Just today I am finding that even the old rerun (and reboot for that matter) doesn't work.

Anyone else familiar with this problem?
Please note, it only happens for the
N-Violas KS, not N-Violins KS, N-Cellos KS, etc.
They work fine when this occurs.

    Thanks for any guidance.

I can't help you with this specific problem, except to commiserate. An option would be to load the pizz strings seperately and place the pizz notes on a different layer. Then create an instrument for the pizz strings and assign that layer to that new instrument.

Not as elegant as keyswitching, but it would get the job done.

Thanks. I've reached out directly to Tom Hopkins on this. He thinks it's a programing problem and is going to look into it.
