I stand and sing praises for the mighty Snorlax!

Snorlax (Jim) is well known in this forum and always helpful.
Recently I had a fellow teacher ask me about wind synthesizers.
She plays flute at her church and for Christmas had received an EWI.
She was having problems understanding fingering and other issues.
I told her I knew someone who had also recently gotten a wind synth - I thought the same brand, but I was wrong about that.

I asked Jim if he could help her and recently my friend called Jim at home and he very patiently walked her through many steps and helped her immensely. It made no difference that Jim HAD A DIFFERENT BRAND of wind synth. He looked up her model and the specs and figured it out for her.

I spoke to her after school today and she was so thrilled to finally understand what was going on. She is a total newbie to anything MIDI and was lost, but now is found. She said Jim was so nice and quite patient helping a total novice.

I just wanted to publicly thank Jim for his help!
