Emerging from the depts of sample hell and gasping after air before diving back in again, Yes when working on single samples, fixing, editing, finetuning, listening to single tuba samples over and over again, you sometimes feel a bit crazy!
Anyway, I though I could tell you a bit more about B.O.B, Bigga Orchestral Brass.
The instruments sampled are Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba and French Horn.
The main instruments are sampled in three velocities, and there are several \"specials\" like Staccato, sordini, stopped horns (in French Horns), glissandos, drills and stuff.
There will be one CD/instrument + that you can buy the lot in one package:
About the mixing. The BOB samples have quite a neutral sound, and it\'s my opinion they can be used easily with other libraries. In the 1st demo I used them with AO strings soft sustain, Ethno World snares, Steinway B Grand piano, Percussive Adventures and synths ofcourse.
About the FF and FFF... this is SOLO brass, right! Perhaps you want a horn section to play FFF, but a single horn player...
I think the loud BOB samples can be compared with loud samples on other solo libraries at this moment.
I am in learning mode, forgive any dumb questions. You\'re right ofcourse about the solo dynamics.
Sounds like a reasonably priced investment to me (another one my shortlist - which is quite long).
