Exclamation Practising Sonorities/Chords and a question about dim 7th

On what page can I practice sonorities like lets say it gives you a note and you need to fill in the rest or it shows you a chord and you need to figure out it's quality, quantity etc.
A 7th is major, minor, minor but how does a diminished 7th look like? Is it just a half step smaller?

    Thanks! So a dim 7th is a minor,minor, minor?
btw in our last quiz we had to write a 4-part chord in vocal. Does this mean a triad with the tonic on the bottom (hence 4-part)?

Four part choral harmony SATB (Soprano alto tenor bass) does require that one note is used twice. However, it is not as easy as placing a triad over a bass note (although that will suffice), there is very much more to it than I can possibly explain here. I am afraid you will need to get a good book on the subject - its vast.

All the elements in choral harmony apply also in orchestral harmony, so you wont waste effort studying it.

Thanks, I think I know what it is. We just had vocal and keyboard notation in open and close position in class. This is it right?
