    Bill Evans Trio

Hi All, I was going through some videos at youtube and found this one of the Bill Evans Trio in 1965 with a young Chuck Israels playing a nice bass solo.

    Yeah!

Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!

Great solos by all. I caught Bill Evans once at the Half Note in NYC in the early 70's ... had Eddie Gomez on bass. A memorable night for sure.

That tune is such a great song; amazing all the great music that came out of the Disney studio.

    Thanks for sharing this one!

    Regards,

    Frank

    John:

Great jazz piano and Chuck really swung on bass. I think Bill
Evans is my favorite of all time. His "Waltz for Debi" is one of
the greatest I have ever heard.

    Thanks for posting this.

    Bill Evans - the best.
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.
