    Rozsa: Spellbound Concerto (Section)

Hi. This is the main theme of Hitchcock´s Spellbound (1945). When i heard it the fisrt time in my grandfather´s home years ago, i falled in love with this great music. This is only a section.

Hi Victor, This is nice and dreamy, all it needs is a theremin and it would be 1945 again. Your playing and the piano are both sounding excellent and you have chosen a good ambience for this piece. Thanks for sharing, John

I wish that I could play half as good as you do.

    This sounds great

    Victor:

Excellent playing of a wonderful melodic concerto. You really made
the Steinway sing on this one. It's always nice to hear music that
is not played too frequently these days, but it's better to hear you
bring it back to our attention.

    Great playing, Victor

What more can I say than... I'm spellbound...

I could listen to you all day...

My god! This is incredible! Nothing better than a piano played so well. Perfect! I could go on for ever.

Thanks to all for your kind comments, i appreciate it a lot. Is a great pleasure to perform this music. Miklos Rozsa was a great film composer. I´d wish to perform the complete concerto someday with a real orchestra, why not?. I have the piano part but is a simplified one, for this reason i have had to rearrange in order to close to the original score. But, fortunately, i own two excellent recordings.

    Regards,

Great performance. I didn't know this piece. Nice to hear it. You are playing this life? So, tell me which keyboards are you using, your dynamics are better than mine on my Oberheim MC1000.

Hi Raymond, yes, i played it life using a 88-weighted Korg N1. It has several velocity curves, i work using curve 3 and in addition, a curve i made with Trombettworks.
