You heard wrong!I'm so glad that the Giga reign WILL continue! It's still early to tell, but hopefully this would mean (for me) the a new vst version will be released standard pc and mac.

Even though I am only now exploring Gigastudio, I don't believe it will be making a comeback. The kernel-mode driver, which was really the only thing 'unique' about it, is not something that Microsoft or Apple want to be encouraging, and there's no chance of an open-source Linux version due to the value of the asset.
Thankfully it seems all the bot crap has been removed from this thread now. How long it will stay that way remains to be seen.
I think that as this thread ran its course sometime ago and it keeps getting hit by spam bots, it's probably worth locking it.
