    "Exercise #43"

    All,

Here is my "Exercise Number Forty-Three For Piano".

I am posting it in two different keys so that, if you wish, you may hear the difference in the timbre of the two keys.

    "Exercise #43" in D

    "Exercise #43" in F

This is the Garritan Authorized Steinway piano.

    Regards,
    Larry G. Alexander

Welcome to this forum, Mr. John.

As is to be expected, my work in D is a bit muddy in the left hand and lacks some overall sparkle. The F composition is crisp overall with just a bit of uncomfortable (to me) high frequencies in the right hand, which is also to be expected.

    Thanks for listening.

Hi Larry, An enjoyble composition, I prefer the one in the key of F.
I like the little slurred note runs! Thanks for another entertaining piece! John

GAS? Oh, the Garritan Authorized Steinway. It has a way to go but it's still a remarkable piece of software.

    Thanks for listening and responding.

Very good Larry. My grandmother passed away last year aged 99 and she used to play the piano in silent picture houses when she was a teenager. There is sometimes an element of that style in your piece.
