Omnisphere - how to set favorites?

I noticed there's no button to add a patch as a favorite. How do I go about doing this?

I press the "Edit tag" button in the patch browser and type 'favorites' as one of the tags. Then when I want to search for it I enter 'favorites' at the search field. This is not exactly the best way to do it since I cannot categorize the sound but then again when I hear a sound it's difficult for me to say if its 'bubbly' or 'flickery' or whatever.
Watch the Omni videos on Spectrasonics' site, they show how to set favorites the correct way.

Do you happen to know which video it is, offhand? I have all the tutorial vids, just no time to go through them all at the moment!

As far as I remember it's in one of the browser videos.
If I'm not mistaken there are 2 of them. You'll need to fast forward
them and find what you're looking for. But it's there.
I'm almost sure it's in the first (basic) browser video but not entirely sure.

Grazie! I'll have to scrub through those vids later today.

I too am looking for a solution. There HAS to be an easier way than editing the tags for every sound. That would be a little crazy with that amount of sounds and changes you might want to make. If your using Logic (and maybe Omni in a single sound mode) I would just use "save setting as" so it's like a patch change in Logic. You can make subfolders etc. This might be the fastest way to sort some sounds and get back to work. : >

+1 for a faster way to define favorites. Maybe something like the star-symbols in iTunes or WinAmp to rate an entry?

Better save the favourite patches in the userfolder of Omnisphere. That one already has all the subfolders for the usual categories.
Of course you end up with 2 copies of each fav patch but at least you will find everything real fast.
