    Re: A civil war medley

years ago I was glued to the screen during Ken Burn's epic documentary on the Civil War. Later I about wore out my CD of the music.

Anyway, good job with the arrangement of these tunes from that era.

    Thanks for listening, Trent.
Tunes of this era-- North & South -- are a great source for
    melodic interest.

You make a wonderful sound with this library. Really great, like a symphony orchestra. Nice chords against the melody. The second piece has some distortion right after the beginning at the left ear (some 5 measures from the beginning).

    Great,

It starts at 2:09 minutes and lasts until 2:15 (nearby).

yeah, there's some heavy distortion or weird limiting going on after the two minute mark whenever that bass drum hits. Almost sounds like you have a limiter on there that has too fast an attack and release so it is pumping between peaks of the low frequencies.

    Thanks for listening, Boz.
I have modified the percussion part by turning it down on the mixer & lowering the decibels all the way. There is still one beat that's too loud, but we'll pretend it's a "canon."
