    Unhappy GPO/Kontact PLayer2 and GarageBand, no sound

    Hello everyone,

    I used GPO/Kontact Player2 with GarageBand3 about six months ago, and had no problem.

    I just updated my Kontact Player with an update it prompted me to download in the Native Instruments "Service Center"...and now I don't get any sound from my GPO instruments.

    My JamPack instruments work fine, so I know that the sound/MIDI is working.

    The MIDI data is recognized in Kontact Player and GarageBand, but not the note velocity....so they recognize my keyboard and what notes I am playing...but there are no levels.

    Any help will be much appreciated.

    Have you made sure the mod wheel is turned up. Don't know about Garage Band but some sequencers set the mod wheel to zero at start of playback.

    I have made sure that the mod wheel is up, thanks for asking...I have made that mistake before. : )

    No, I don't think so---it was already registered. It was simply the 2.2.3 and 2.2.4 updates for Mac..something like that.

    Ah, I fixed it...I copied the GPO library and stuck it somewhere else, then directed Kontact2 to look in the new location. Inexplicable, but I'm not complaining.
