    Aural exciter in cubase

    Hi guys and gals,

    Quick question: is anyone able to point out where the aural exciter is in Cubase 5? I think its called excitifier and and I'd like to try it out.

    proper mixing of modern samples (monitored on a decent playback speakers / balanced room) should preclude the need for this sort of plugin (can be a double edge sword).

    I dont know about preclude - why preclude anything thats a matter of taste - both the composers and/or the clients? Aural exciters will suit some styles of music, and some types of samples. If it fits the bill - why not use it?

    I hear what your saying about using them with discretion.

    But it's mac only. There's no exciter/enhancer in C5 AFAIK. I use the P-enhancer from UA.... but subtle does it with enhancers, and it's so easy to overdo it.
