    Song #64091949

Took some time away from doing music and anything that had to do with music just because.......... but I sat down the other day and wrote and recorded this one:

    http://www.box.net/shared/isecr45jko

Still don't have a title for it but I'm sure I'll think of something before I die of old age.

    GPO used:

    Cellos
    Violas
    Violins
    French Horns
    Tubular Bells

    My Stuff used:

2 Synth tracks one is a bass synth
    1 Organ Track
    1 Drum track
    Bass Guitar
    Strat for the Power Chords

How's "Into the Sunset" for a title? Maybe not the best, but more poetic than "Dying of Old Age".

Nice piece. I particularly like the low growling bass synth. Overall, a super full sound.

This reminds me of something, but I can't put my finger on it. I think it was something by Ray Lynch which I haven't heard since the late '80s or very early 90s.

    Good job on this.

    Thanks Trent.

If there is one thing I do....it is a big sound.

Hearing this reminded me - I've been needing a Hippie Hit!

Big and bold, Aram, sounding great. Reminds me of how I enjoyed seeing PBS re-run a Moody Blues reunion concert in Albert Hall the other night.

The Universe is still spinning - I can tell after hearing this.

    Hey Aram!

Good to see your back here again!
I was kind of zoned out listening to the intro to this when the drums and guitar smacked me in the face. Nice work on this track, really well balanced!
I was watching the level meters while listening, perfect throughout.

LOL Sorry about that John LOL not really.

I wrote this track in 3 sections. I did the main melody chords first then did the into, liked it so much I did the ending but changed some of the notes for the cello. All in all it was a fun 5 days of doing music and enjoying some fine cheap beer, plus I got out of doing the yard work.

    Kind of a case of out-Moody Blues-ing the Moody Blues, Aram;
those huge textures just wrap themselves around you like
the arms of a lover drawing you in.

But you gotta gotta crank this one up to get inside it.

Well done, my friend, well done. Anyone who can't tunnel
inside these enormous sounds and feel the pulse needs a
    transfusion...

    My best,

This is great music for a Movie-trailer!!!! With my eyes shut, I can see it. What? The darkness of some "end-of-days" movie ending in a bright sunrise, where the heroes find their way to an uncertain future, smiling at all people who survived that "Terminator"-stuff.

To be short, it is almost midnight here, I didn't have any bear, no yard had to be done (don't have one) and my wife is watching the Tele......

    Nice piece of imagination,

    Raymond
