    Hauptwerk?

I'm really in need of a good pipe organ library. I've been patiently waiting for Gary's coming Organ Library but it seems to be aways off, same as GPO Aria and the others in the pipeline and I can't put this project off any longer. I know Hauptwerk is very pricey but I am wondering if anyone is using it and can give me some feedback on the sound, playability, ease or difficulty of use, etc. Or are their other libraries which are as good or better. How easy is it to use in Sibelius or Sonar?

    As always, thanks in advance.

How about the GPO organ? I have used it in quite a few compositions and like it a lot. It is versatile and very easy to use.

There are a couple of options for Kontakt 2/3:
    Cavaillé-Coll organ Madeleine, Paris
    Notre Dame de Budapest
I don't own either one, but the demos sound nice.

    There is also this :

    (50% promo these days !)
and you can use this script to take advantage of this library.

I don't own it myself, but I certainly will before the end of the month :-)

Right! I forgot about that and I even own it. It's a great little organ and a fine script. Go get it while it's on sale.

    Re: Hauptwerk?

In reading the description of the Nilsberg script it appears to be in Giga format. Am I correct in that? If so, and I d/l the organ in Kontakt format I'm not sure I understand how to convert the script to Kontakt format. I do have Kontakt 3.

    Re: Hauptwerk?

Nils' scripts are Kontakt scripts and Kontakt scripts are always in Kontakt format. I don't think Giga even knows the concept of scripting.

The Giga reference on Nils' site is to a bugfix of the organ samples, not to the script itself.
