Quick question Trillian and Round Robin?

Does Trillian handle Round Robin on one note. I mean if you play a single note of the same length in a series (say via a midi score) does it repeat the same sample? I was watching the video re trilogy which uses samples laid across the keys and would not be suitable for score work.

    Thanks

The true stacatto technique in Trilogy isnt really meant to be used as a round robin substitute but to insert stacattos at the appropiate positions in a lick aka evrywhere where short notes are being used in a bassline.
From my experience its not a big deal to transpose those notes down by 3 octaves for printing the score. Takes a couple of seconds only because those high notes are so easily selectable in any scoreeditor and pulled down.

Ok in some senses it is not a big deal, but in other senses it is - another little fiddle between you and the creation process. I think in notes. Round Robin is usually handled automatically. I realise the video is old so I think Eric probably has a lead on this, anyways I am off to the shops to buy Trilogy now - on the strength of my WOW!!! impression of Omni and my hopes of Trillian.

I am sure RMX will be next when I get some more cash

Yes...all the new sounds in Trilian feature extensive Round Robin sampling. :-)

Thanks Spectrum looking forward to the upgrade - esp working in 64 bit - though I have Trilogy working here in JBridge/ CUbase 5 if it helps to know.
