Free windchimes - who wants 'em?

    Howdy.

I did some recording yesterday, and one of the thngs I did was some windchimes. So, I figured I'd share.

    http://www.jeffreyhayat.com/SampleLibs/JH_W.Chimes.zip

Also included are some Piano string strikes.

Some of the samples may sound a bit "mono"; I did some experimenting with the xy pattern there. Not sure if I would do that again. There is some redundancy here, but imho, more is better. Right? Right. The files are 48/24, and are Kontakt2 ready. For those of you that have Logic, you will still be able to use this, yes? Even if so, is there a preferred delivery method for you?

Feel free to use at will, and any comments/suggestions are appreciated.

    Enjoy!

An excellent collection thank you! I do use them a lot (cosmetics spots etc..), but my patches are not that organized and I take too much time trying them. It's great to have them all in one patch. I particularly love the panning and movment of them. My only suggestion would be to start the patch on C1 instead of C0, so all of us with 61 note keyboards don't have to transpose to get the bottom octave. Thanks again, they sound excellent.

Ah - ok, will keep that in mind for next time.

    Glad you like them.

I have searched both the links that you given but first link are not opened. The second link is opened successfully. I read all the information that is given by you in this form. I like wind chimes because it produces music like sound.

    Hello Christian

The link has been taken down. Instead, there is a library for sale:

    http://www.universalsampling.com/101.html

It is a very deeply sampled windchime library that will suit any need. And the price just can't be beat.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
