    Storm Drums?

I'm looking to purchase SD2, but I was wondering... What happened to SD1? Is it included in SD2, or a completely separate product?

    Thanks!

There is no more SD1, but for owners of SD2 there's a Pro Upgrade that includes the best of SD1 and a lot of other material. It looks like you buy SD2 and then buy the SD2 Pro upgrade for $180.

SD1 is no longer sold or allowed to be sold. It used the NI 'engine', and EW and NI are no longer associated. As you may already know, SD2 uses the new EW "Play" engine.

So there is SOME original material in SD1 that is just lost forever? That's too bad. I feel like I'm missing out!

    Hi Alex,
Well I guess some might suggest that it's not really "lost" to those of us who own SD1 and can still use it, but it is certainly is not available for purchase now. However, please note that the new SD2 Pro bundle contains 4 Gigs of content including 2.5 Gigs of new recordings featuring tremendous new ensembles and solo percussion instruments PLUS a free bonus "best of" selection from the original Quantum Leap Stormdrum 1 with over 1.5 gigabytes of multi-samples in PLAY format..........playz
