    That brings back some memories. I can remember desperately, desperately wanting the Proteus Orchestral module, but never had the cash.

    Yes... I have the Proteus 2 (the orchestral model) as well as a Procussion (which was killer in its day) still sitting in my rack, unpowered, out of reverence. Since then my world has gone 'soft' so no new hardware is coming to displace them. Nostalgia holds sway.

    There are a few patched on my Proteus 2 that I still like to use. They are up in the higher banks and I've found them hard to emulate with soft synths.
