Anyone successfully using Kontakt 3 on a Windows Vista 64-bit machine? Will it work out of the box?
Kontakt is just as stable as it has always been for me. Which is not rock-solid stable, but no better/worse than it was on Vista x32.
K3.5 works great on all 3 of my i7s with 12 Gigs RAM.
I'm using Vista 64 along with Cubase 5.
I've never had one single issue, ever!
(Other than installing an older Giga library)

I've just installed K3.5 on Win7 RC and it seems to be working well. It might be a good idea to download it and try it. It's free and it'll working for 1 year. Especially since win7 will soon be on the market and Vista will soon be gone i would think.
Thanks guys, just installed Cubase 5 this morning. Komplete was on backorder when I bought it, so I have to wait until AUg 3rd to get it and try. But I'm using a quad-core i7 with 8GBs of RAM and that closely matches someone else's system above, so, should work fine.
It's been forever since I updated any of these programs, this is fun.
I'd rather stick knitting needles in my eyes... *and that is why I still run a P4 system and wonder why Omnisphere can't handle it ) My time is coming for a new machine. I just dread the whole process...
Good luck Alan!
