    Sonar and GPO4 (and JABB)

When using the piano roll view in Sonar 8 PE, I can audition notes by either moving them up or down, or clicking on them in the middle of the note. This works on all of the instruments in GPO and some of them in JABB, but not all of them. In GPO4, no matter what I try, I can not hear any of the Sam's Brass until I actually hit play. So I cannot hear the notes I put onto the PRV. This also happens with the choir patches.

I know what note I am looking for when I try to put it on the page, but have to hear it to know that it is the right note, so obviously this is quite a problem for me.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Is the answer maybe: MODWHEEL? or CC#1? If not any value in it, no sound at all....... Just guessing. Why whining, now you have the change to compose something never heard before (nor after) LOL

Raymond I wish it was as simple as the mod wheel. But alas that is not it.

Granted that would do it, but I always insert cc 1 right away. The notes play when I hit play, but will not make a sound until then. It makes for so much extra work for me that the instruments that do i t to me in JABB, I now just ignore.

But I like using Sam's brass, so it really is getting to me.

It looks like I fixed the prioblem with the brass and with the choir patches.

When I loaded Sonar into this computer, I forgot to uncheck zero controllers after use (or whatever it says). My missteak.

That cleared up GPO4 and will hopefully fix JABB as well.
