Topic: GPO4 Flutes not installing

    GPO4 Flutes not installing

    Not sure what to do here. I downloaded the GPO 4 installer shortly after it became available. So far, everything seems to work except one thing. None of the flute samples seem to install.

    So far I've repeated the installation process three times, but the same thing always happens. What can I try here?

    Is that Flute or clarinets?
    Are you on OSX?
    the installer for GPO4 OSX has been fixed and re-uploaded to Garritan Servers..

    Flutes. And I'm on a Windows XP system.

    If it's important, I'm installing the samples on a seperate hard drive from the system.

    Installation finished without any error?

    Can you run "Report Technical Issue" under "Programs" > "Garritan ARIA Player" in the Windows Start menu?

    Tried just now, but don't have e-mail enabled on my music computer. It did generate an ARIA log file though. I'll send that in a little while.

    Problem fixed! It's still a mystery why the flute samples weren't installed to begin with, but following David's suggestion in an e-mail, I deleted the flute folder from my sample drive, then ran the installation program again, choosing to install only the flutes. Everything seems to work OK now.
