    VARIATION ON A SHORT THEME for Clarinet quartet

    This is an effort to combine chord progressions; part writing;
    and music together.

    Hiya, Gary - Definitely one my favorite pieces of yours. I loved its gentle playfulness, and the aura of innocence it has. - AND I really admire the lung power of your musicians - they hardly ever stop to breathe! (--some natural breaks in the phrasing would make that effect go away--)

    Thanks for the music, Mr. M.

    Thanks for listening, Randy.
    Breath marks are a definite needed edit. This always tends
    to happen when there are long segments of sustained background. Not as bad as finding a breathing point in a Bach work.
