Cubase drum maps for Stylus RMX Sound menus and Kit Mode?

    Hi,

I'd like to use the Stylus RMX in Sound Menu/Kit mode with the Cubase 5.
Would be much easier to use it with pre-made Cubase drum maps in the Cubase Drum Editor.

Are these RMX Sound Menu drum maps file downloadable somewhere?

    Thanks,
    sb.

Kit mode uses a general midi mapping, so you can use the GM map. Every sound menu is different, so I don't think a map would help you.

This idea is not practical - what would you call the sounds? They are not all identifiable drums.

    1] The whizzy thingy sound

    2] That frilly bit

    you get the idea
Core i7 920, Win 7 RC 64, Cubase 5 64, Omnisphere, Trilogy, RMX, EWQLSO Plat EW Choirs, GPO, Stradivari, Gofrilla, Absynth 4, Halion 3, Kontakt3, BFD2, VSL Strings, JBridge running all 32 bit apps well.

    Hi there,

I believe battery 3 has some excellent cubase maps and from their sound names not all of the sounds are obvious by just reading the menu.

In short, provided you use the same cubase map for what you load and give sound names that help you I see no problem. Of course you need a different map with different names for each rmx menu you load.

Have we not worked with synth patch names for years that can be obscure?

    best wishes, neil
