Can't get Stylus rmx to accept dragged midi files into it's time designer

I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem or if I'm doing I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem or if I'm doing somethimg wrong because I can't drag standard midi files into Stylus..?
I can load them the conventional way but it would save so much time if I could just drag them.

Also is there a way to lock the midi file so when I load a new groove (in the same bank) it doesn't erase the midi file, meaing I have to load the file again......

Any help would be gratefully received

    Thanks

Would you believe it. I tried this on another DAW I've just started using and it works (Reaper). I be moving on with Reaper from now on..

Yes, I'd believe it because it works with other DAWs as well. But hard to know which DAW you were using previously because you don't seem to have a signature file or didn't appear to mention in your first post which program you were using.
Cubase 7.0.3, Wavelab 7.1, Omnisphere, Trilian, Stylus RMX, Symphobia 1 & 2 , all Spitfire libraries, LASS 2, Requiem Pro, Voxos, Superior Drummer 2, Komplete 8, Cinematic Guitars, most EW libraries, Chris Hein Horns, Guitar & Bass, 2.8 GHz Mac Pro, 18 GB RAM, OS 10.6.8, RME Multiface II + HDSP PCIe
