Aria With Sonar - Mixing Problems

I apologise if this has already been asked but I have tried searching for a while and couldn't find any answer.

I am using GPO4 Aria in sonar and would like to set Aria just to give full output so that I can mix the instruments in Sonar. I have tried everything including raising the mod wheel for each instrument. This works temporarily but when I replay everything reverts back. This makes it impossible to mix the instruments as I need them.

There has to be a setting somewhere to disable Aria from resetting my mix; would someone kindly tell me where it is?

    Many thanks.

    Hi Michael,

Is it possible you have the "Zero all controllers when playback stops" set in Sonar?

    Just a thought.

Hi, Michael - Pretty sure Frank has your solution there. Under Project options, MIDI, be sure "zero controllers" is unchecked. It's checked by default. All Sonar projects using Garritan Libraries needs to have that unchecked because otherwise, every time you stop playback, your CC1 is set to zero.

    Hello Frank and Randy,

    Many thanks for your replies.

This seems to have done the trick .. thanks.

Thanks for letting us know it worked out, Michael. That "zero controllers" option in Sonar is probably the #1 stumbling block for Sonar users when using Garritan instruments, so all you've done is join the legions of bewildered users who went before you.
