Wink elaia (Olives) - vocal version for ya...

    Hi again!

Per kind request, please take a moment to listen to the vocal version of "elaia", and share your thoughts if you would. Same soft spoken usage of GPO along with Myriad sounds... raised a 5th which I hope is less muddy - thanks Michael!... vocal studio recording by the lovely and talented Racquel Roberts... no more funds for that but it was fun!

    Muffit,

Thanks for posting the vocal version.

Lovely voice that gives the song its final touch and completeness.

Loved the chord progression at 1:32.

Thanks so much Yudit I very much appreciate your kind words. Suggestions for improvement? More GPO instruments in the refrains perhaps?

    Hope your day goes wonderfully

AAaaah, it's wonderful, Muffit. You Have to be pretty darned happy with this recording! I'm sure impressed.

The lead vocal is a bit more towards the right--? - Perhaps you were wanting it to be balanced with the harmony when the double tracked voice comes in - But a lead vocal really should be dead center, harmonies to either or both sides. Or maybe my hearing is off this morning.

I know nothing about the market for this kind of Christian inspirational material, but surely this could be popular with those listeners.

Thanks so much for the post.

    Dear Randy,

Wow,thank you Randy! I am so happy you liked it okay.
You know - you are right! I didn't realize I did that; I did in fact pan the vocals (even the solo parts) to the side. Thank you for letting me know, I don't know much about recording, so I did pan the two voices opposite one another. I will definitely remix and pan the solos back where they belong! I so appreciate your feedback so I can learn

And thank you also for the uplifting market suggestion. Am not sure if I will ever do well enough to be able to share like that, but it would sure be grand

Warmest wishes and affection to ya
