    What a Joyous March!!!

    Hi Folks! I just completed the re-rendering of one of my favorite works of music from 1999, and fun to render.

    Marche Joyeuse - Chabrier

    A wonderful and joyous march this is! A nice render, very fun indeed.

    Very happy without being clownish or comic. Has a little of that exuberant joy of Christmas Music, I think -- or maybe that's just the brass talking!

    Thanks for the kind words guys.

    I did a complete remix. Reduced the overbearing bass drum, and tried to tighten up the brass, and woods. With GPO4, I'm still trying to avoid the "wah-wah" sound on sustained brass, and it's still a work in progress. I think I'll have to use CC#1 to accent the first few milliseconds of the note, and draw the rest down to avoid this anomaly.

    It's a new mix. Use the same link in the original link, and tell me what you think.

    Sound great to me. A very "joyous" march and so well rendered.

    The rendering work on this is excellent, Steve;
    one heck of a performance!

    I'm not much for marches as a rule -- but this one
    I absolutely thoroughly enjoyed... great job on it.
