    It appears that Yoni Brenner didn't attend the concert and tried to cover the fact with non-sequitur humor. Alas, poor Yoni. Once again his extensive vocabulary failed him, a frequent happenstance given his usual mundane metaphoric drivel.

    This is how all reviews should be written. Obviously, a lot of little known idiosyncrasies about Brahms are exposed as well... A revelation to us all...

    Sounds to me as if the author wasn't just absent from the gig - he was Brahms and Liszt when he wrote the review!

    It is not a review, it is a (probably fictive) program note. Something that is printed and handed out to the audience to get an access to the works they are listening to.
