    Exclamation external hard drives for samples

    hey guys


    i am planning to buy a 2TB sata ext hard drive for my all my vst and sample
    data how good it is to work with a ext HD n streaming samples from there
    while working on cubase ???

    or should i buy a internal HD ??

    what would u guys suggest ??
    does anybody use an external HD for streaming samples ???

    Go with internal.

    I use both, just depends on what you're doing.

    If you have room for an internal, I'd max that out, but I also like external drives as well, you can never have too much storage and externals are quick and easy.

    Another vote here for internal.
    ALSO, don't mix developers libraries on the same drive.

    Keep your fav libraries on an internal and lesser valued ones on an external.
