    "Sunday In The Park"

    Music Lovers,

Here is a short piece I wrote this morning using the Aria player and sounds from GPO4.

It is SATB with a small string orchestra. This is "Sunday In The Park".

    Hey Larry,

Well, those "Damn Yankees" finally won the ALCS tonight (this morning, actually) and as I was shutting down after watching two hours of post-game stuff (still completely wired), I happened across your charming piece ... just what the doctor ordered! It has soothed my soul just enough where sleep is now an option .

Anyway, I enjoyed your piece ... I may need to listen again during the World Series!

    Regards,

    Frank ... one tired "Yankee"!

Check to see if Mr. Steinbrenner is happy.

I watched a large part of the game last night. The Yankees are really a powerhouse, as usual. (Jeter, A-Rod, "Tex", et al) My beloved Texas Rangers will make it some day...some day.

Thanks for listening to "...Park", Mister Frank. It was just meant as a quick, simple demo of the Garritan voices in GPO4.

Well for a "quick simple demo", that is pretty impressive! It would be great to hear it with the Garritan Choir - someday! I think it would work very well.

Thanks for the Monday morning uplift.

Thanks for your comments, young chap.

By Jove, some day I shall get it right. I would like to be a composer when I grow up.

Larry, you seem to be growing happier and more optimistic all the time! And that, still in concert with your already noted versatility!! The EnglishGent meant, the not yet available (but soon I hope), Full Garritan Choir, packed with subtlety and intrigue!!

    Very uplifting and enjoyable!

    Take care,
    sd cisco

Yes, I knew of what the English Gent was speaking.

Thanks very much for taking the time to listen and thank you for the message.

Seeing as how it's Sunday and I missed this one
    earlier...

Larry, you got some great miles out of the choir
on this. I don't think I've heard anything choral
from you previously... and this is quite a delightful
    excursion!

Very sure hand with the vocals, I must say.

    My best,

    Re: "Sunday In The Park"

If I had this piece on Sunday I didn't bother that it rained all day. But.. now on Monday - as with all Monday's - it made mine a better one.

Another demonstration of his skill, guys. Wonderful.
