    sustain pedal issue

Just noticed that the sustain pedal seems to work fine except for the celesta and harpsichord in the standard instruments. It does work for the notation instruments for these two, so why not in the standard???

I can merely confirm your findings here.. seems those presets are just not programmed with sustain (but they were programmed with sustain in GPO3).
I've no idea if this is deliberate, though.

Real harpsichords don't have sustain pedals. If earlier versions of GPO enabled the sustain pedal on the harpsichord, maybe it was removed for greater "realism."

Of course, that doesn't explain why it doesn't work on the celesta, since it works on real celestas.

You are correct about the harpsichord not having a sustain pedal, but it does sound better with one!

The harpsichord and celesta do have the Sus (sus) designation in the last features column on page 124 of the manual. Seems like a bug or removed for realism as you suggested, since the picture of the harpsichord in the manual has no sustain pedal. At least it is available in the notation samples for those who might want to use it.
