GVI, why I can't use it (like it)

Could someone who is happy using GVI tell me why I just can not seem to like it? I spend 4 months in Mexico, can not take GS3 Orchestra with me of course, and I am forced to use GVI. There is no way I can get similar sound quality out of GVI as from GS3. Why? Only the absence of Giga Pulse? Or am I doing something wrong? By the way, my GS3 (touch wood) is working flawlessly for the past two years. Just love it.

Why can't you take GS3 with you?

I can not take GS3 to an other computer (my other desktop PC in Mexico) without registering it for that PC. Then comes 2010, and no registration any more when I get home in April 2010? As I said in an other thread, sell me a dongle for GS3 and I'll be happy.
    Thanks for your reply.

GVI why I cant use it like it

    If Windows, what version?
    If Mac, what version
If Linux, what distribution and what version?
Any other ones just state what OS it is i.e Unix

Also, Why do you use that OS?

    Just curious.

    Ted,

Try running GS3 without gigapulse and see if it then sounds the same as GVi.
That would make the exploration of the problem, if there is one, less complicated.

Are you sure it's not just the change in environment that is responsible for the change in sound?
