I just received and installed my Stylus RMX package today (love it by the way! -- need to tell Santa I would like to get Trilian, now). Starting to play around a little now and one of the first things I notice is that when I start to browse, there are 3 top level directories available to me: "Core Library", "EXP Libraries", and "User Favorites". Core and EXP act as expected -- lots of hierarchical browsing I can do and the grooves all play. But with User Favorites, I get the subdirectories ("Feel Templates" "Logic Templates" and "Machine Templates" and lists of grooves below those, but when I try to play them I only get a tone (A 440). The tone has a bit of a beat to it, depending on the groove, but only the one tone.
Can someone help me understand what's going on?
My setup is Windows XP PC and running inside of Sonar 8.3.1.
You first need to add some favorite grooves to your favorites before you'll have grooves there to play. Search for "Favorites" in the reference guide for details on all the things you can do with Favorites.
