Very well written, Larry... a genuine pleasure.
The missus happened to be in the vicinity, and
expressed her liking of the piece, as well.

    All the best,

    David

    P.S.:

This sounded perhaps slightly dry to me.

It's dry like fine vermouth, Mister David. Gag...choke...snort...barf!

Thanks and my best to you and Miz Sosnowski. Express my appreciation to her for last night. Oh...wait...forget I said that!

    ROFL!

I'll be sure to mention. Though her memory's
not what it once was -- she tends to imagine things,
    too... lol.

    Best,

This is outstanding, Larry! It's a flute accompanied by piano, but there is also an orchestra and it shows off your inventive mind. I liked the modulation at about 2:20 but I'd be tempted to lose the last little bit at the end, it is not required. But great work really and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!
    Best regards,

The "...last little bit at the end..." is the 'tag line' and is one of my compositional traits. It IS required.
