I've finally gotten brave enough to put some of my stuff out for public consumption. I need some feedback on a little piece for string quartet:

I'm a bit worried that I may have "borrowed" the opening theme from someone. If so, I'll rename it to "Variations on ...".

Sonically it's pretty ragged. It's right out of Sibelius+GPO with no post editing to smooth out the attacks, etc.

Musically it's very unchallenging. (I seem to be firmly stuck in the 19th century. But it's only opus 3 so there's a chance I'll grow.) It's kind of a rambling exploration of 3 closely related themes, interrupted in the middle by an unrelated passage.
