Nice, sweet, impressionistic piece. Reminiscent of Ravel (can't remember the title though). I would say it's a pity it's so short. It would certainly befit a sun-rise-over-a-quiet-place sequence in a movie.

    Hi Theo,

Thx for your kind words. Yeah it's a short piece of music 1:39 typically TV music . But I will write a 2nd. Mvmt. Impressionism is my passion. This piece was for a TV shortfilm documentary. Ravel is one of my heroes. But this piece has no relation to his works ..just it's have also a impressionistic
    style.

    All my best

    Jaques,

You must have a magic wand which you use
while creating these wonderful splashes of sound...

I like the combination of instruments, motives
and little surprises one can hear.

There's also the feeling of a wide space that has depth.

    I enjoyed all that!

    Thanks for sharing!

Oui, une petite touche de Daphnis par-ci et par-là... mais légèrement tinté de Michel Legrand (d'une petite touche de jazz fançais).

    Jacques:

Very nice, coloristic piece. Would it be inconvenient to
    list the GPO instruments used?

    I really liked your impressionism.

    Hi Jaques,

What a beautiful piece! I really enjoyed that. To be perfectly honest with you, I loved it's brevity as well. A really great piece of music dosen't always need to be developed into a 10 minute work. You said what you wanted to say in 1:39 ... and you said it very well. Of course I would listen to anything you add to it as well!

Michel or Jaques: I get Michel's references to Daphnis et Chloe, Michel LeGrand, and French jazz, but for us non-French speaking Anglos, what is this:

    par-ci et par-là... mais légèrement

    Merci!

    Regards,

    Francois

Yes, a little touch of Daphnis, here and there... but lightly tinted of Michel Legrand (a small touch of French jazz).

    Dear Jack,

Thank you for that nice comment. Well I use sometimes the "sord. lush str". from GPO - Vln, Vlas, Cell, Bass. and mix them together with another lib. like VSL, Kirk Hunter etc.. to create that str. color. GPO have a special touch and brings a element in the mix which I love very much.

    Thank you again..
