I don´t know if this has anything to do with the latest update
but it anyway feels to me that some instruments/samples sound now even
better than they use to do.

One of my favorite ones is the Höffner 500/1: really deep and full
of character, what an enjoy to play!

Because it seems that Spectrasonics is especially good in sampling the "retro" instruments, I suggest that they now put the other famous MacCartney bass, namely the Rickenbacker 4001C64S 4-String Electric Bass in the production line (if its not already done!).

Getting this instrument to the Trilian would be a dream come true to many of us. If this will happen in the near future, I suggest that Spectrasonics - as is the case with the Höffner - tries get out of all the classical MacCartney sounds of this versatile instrument. The Rickenbacker beatle sounds could be classified in three different categories: 1965-66 (Rubber Soul/Revolver era), 1967 (Pepper/Mystery Tour era), 1968-1969 (White Double/Abbey Road era).

Each of the categories could include some distinctive classical samples of the era: e.g. Nowhere Man sound, Lucy in the Sky sound, Dear Prudence sound,
Glass Union sound, Piggies sound, Something sound etc.

(The Trilian Rickenbacker beatle set could of course include as a "bonus" sound of the Chris Squire and other Rick heroes).

Don't forget Paul used a Fender bass on much of the "White" album and Abbey Road...

I am having a small problem with installing the patches. They don't unpack when i double click the update 1_2_0 , the file just opens up in the FINDER window on my Mac. All the other updates just went through the install process
How do install these updates please? What am i doing wrong? Sorry for the probably stupid question.
