    Snorlax Relaxin

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

    Wait a minute--that's an impostor! He's playing a tuba, not a euphonium.

    Oh, dear...

Karma is biting me in the rear end...

Those of you who are veterans of the forum might recall that I once ran a scathing expose of the gnarly downside of Styxx's family tree.

I brought relatives such as Tryxx (the hooker), Bryxx (the crooked mason), Wyxx (the crooked candlemaker), Hyxx (the hillbilly moonshiner), and others to the light of day and to the attention of forum members. Needless to say, poor Styxx was mortified that I had shoveled up this all-too-real pile of dreck, and Styxx disappeared from the forum for months. I was devastated (Yeah, I was...really. Yep. Devastated...).

Fortunately, much of the original thread has aged off the forum (But you can see parts of a later version here) and Styxx was able to reappear on the forum without being overly embarassed.

Well...what goes around comes around, and Karma has bitten me in the butt.

Reber...that person in the photo ISN'T the Snorlax we all know, love, and admire.

It's my evil second cousin Snarlax. I have tried to keep him away from people, and FAR away from animals, especially sheep, but I have failed. Miserably.

The worst part of all this is the instrument. He's playing a Besson. No self-respecting member of the Snorlax family plays a Besson. All regular, normal members of the Snorlax family play Willsons.

As to the shoes, Snarlax appears to have stolen them from "Raimund6432" (name changed to protect Raymond62), a Dutch forum member and klompen-maniac. "Raimund6432's" huge klompen collection has led to his designation as the Netherlands' answer to Imelda Marcos. Snarlax nicked a couple of pairs, including the ones he's wearing in the photo.

More than anything else, however, I apologize to the deer.

So now you know. Snorlax also has family issues. Some members of the Snorlax family actually play the tuba. (And at least one plays the saxophone)

I think Stynxx dredged this picture up, or paid somebody to take it, or paid someone to photoshop it, in retribution for my 100% truthful expose of his family.

Reber Clark is merely a pawn in this intense battle between two strong, but flawed, musical families. The photo was planted in a place where Reber would find it (can't list the site name here--the forum blocks everything after the "xxx.")

The last salvo in this battle, however, has not been fired.

Styxx, you've made like you've had real drum gigs...HA!!!...DRUM gigs??????? You have actually been dredging up photos of the Snorlax family, viciously photoshopping them, and spreading them around the internet. I refuse to do that, mostly because I'm no good at Photoshop.

I just wanted to make this confession to the forum and call for a cease-fire.

Alas, Jim, you are correct - it is SNARLAX. The problem started when I hooked up (hicced up?) with HYXX at Midwest and we, uh, sampled the Kool-Aid.

Sorry for the MYXX up...but, still, those shoes sure are interesting.
