    Hosting Omni on External machine?

Please tell what are you using if you are hosting Omnisphere (the newest version) on a satellite machine?

Forte isn't working anymore and I also hear Chainer is no longer working with the newest version of Omnisphere, so it would be good to know about other options.

    Thank you,

    S

Something like Savihost should work fine.

Thanks Glenn. That looks nice and simple.

What I'd ideally love to find is a VST host that has the ability to take Omni's
8 stereo pairs and send them to *both* of the 2 sound cards I use on the host machine.
*Both* is stressed because the VST host will have to be able to talk to 2 sound cards at the same time and also be able to use 4 stereo pairs from each sound card.

SO ... if anyone is aware of such a host then please let me know.

    Thank you!

Cantabile looks very promising and the Lite version is free.

I'll be checking it out soon to see if it will do multiple audio outs with Omnisphere.

I'm using NI Kore on a MacbookPro for VIs (feeding an old G5 running ProtoolsHD ) and Omnisphere 1.2 is working great ; Trilian and RMX as well.
The only problem with Kore is it's not 64 bit right now and I don't think the next update coming soon will.Hope they will do this quickly.
