What is up with that site? Every post I make needs to be approved.

    Nice job at preventing spam.

No, in general that's not true at all.....unless you've been a problem? Normally, it's only when you first sign up that they take a little extra care. I've posted at the forum for a few years now with no problems like that at all. And anything that keeps spammers away is fine by me. In any case, wouldn't it be better to air any concerns at their forum, rather than at Northern Sounds??.........playz

I just registered there. It's says in there "FAQ" everyone's first post is moderated, but my second post is too.

"wouldn't it be better to air any concerns at their forum"

Can't. I need to air it somewhere.

I don't believe you are facing any extra moderation. Sometimes it just takes a couple of posts before your reputation gets boosted. Normally 1 post is enough but if the admins are busy, it can take a few more.

Send a PM to one of the admins, just in-case they missed it.

You are airing concern after only TWO posts. Wow.

ONE actually. I don't think forums should be run that way at all.

I gotta agree with the OP. They are unreasonably paranoid and very slow to approve you. It took me MANY posts, all of them innocuous, before they deigned to let me on the forum, even after a polite message to the moderators. I finally posted a friendly, smiling picture of myself in my avatar and an introduction in the "Introduce Yourself" section, and evidently that's what got their approval. But it took around a month. A MONTH! That's a lot of unecessary BS to go through. I don't think they appreciate the ill will this generates. Makes me wish I'd gone with the networking-friendly VSL instead.

Thank you. It made me really angry. I just wanted to ask a quick question, but no... "Eat our Draconian measures!!" I did not feel like buying anything from them. But, meh -- I bent over.
