    The best free reverb

What are considered the best free reverb VSTs, both "regular" and convolution?

And, can these compete with commercial ones?

    Re: The best free reverb

I did a blog post on free reverbs about a year ago:

Since then, my new favorite convolution reverb is Reverberate LE. I'm going to upgrade to the full version of Reverberate soon. My favorite algorithmic reverb is still Classic Reverb.

There is a very good reverb for the reactor freely available on the NI website. This is called 6-REV and it sounds so good, I am really excited about it. I only tried for an hour or two, but what I found it difficult to make bad sound.

For Reverberate you should really check out my free but very complete and accurate IR library from the Bricasti M7 reverb:

And check out the demos from the Lex960 and TCE6000 libs, last December discount days!

    Cheers,

One of the better sounding reverbs, imo.
