Turning off latched notes in Omnisphere

In Omnisphere (or Trilian) 1.3.1c, is it possible to have a latched note turn off upon triggering of a new note? At present I have to hit the original note to turn it off prior to hitting the new note. Or am I missing something?

Let's say I've got a simple keyboard split where the bottom half of the keyboard triggers and latches an arp bass. In the top half of the keyboard I have a non-latching patch (e.g. piano) which I want to play with both hands against the bass ostinato. When it is time for a key or chord change I simply want to trigger a new arp bass note which will automatically turn off the existing one.

    Regards,

I can't think of a way to do that scenario yet, but we'll add it to the wishlist.

If you follow the same terminology as in Live mode for how keyswitches and CC's are configured (Latch, Touch, Switch) then you could define a "play method" as follows:

Latch - what you currently have
Switch - normal (default) keyboard playing
Touch - this would be the new technique

    Just a thought.
