    Evening Prayer

    Hi All!

Here's a song I wrote when I first started writing about 6 years ago. I wrote it in Allegro before I even knew what score order or Finale was, and saved it as a midi file. It was a terrible mess, but I used alot of the midi. I didn't go through the trouble of writing a score: have moved away from that. Too much work for nothing.

    Anyway, here it is:

    Hey Andy,

I wanted you to know this is a lovely piece. Very nice rendition. I can hear this as part of a soundtrack for a movie. Nicely done, Andy!

Lovely piece, Andy... very moving in its simplicity and grace.

    Well done!

I wonder if you might consider taking this further?

    Best,

    Thanks for the replies!

I never thought of taking this further David, but am not working on anything else. Do you mean expanding the piece and using that as the intro, or as a seperate movement?

I think I'd expand this, Andy, were it me... the thematic material
is of a kind that just loves development. I'd listened to the piece
several times, and that's one of the things that struck me -- that
there was much more that could be said.

    My best,

    David

I find myself agreeing with David. I want to hear more of this piece as the material is so nice. Again, a wonderful work, Andy!

Every so often I hear a piece and wonder why couldn't I have written that? This is such a piece.

    Hi Andy;
I agree with the others re carrying on with this material, nicely handled. I noticed you listed the m-Audio Keystation 88es in your equipment line-up. I had one until last month, when I traded it in for the StudioLogic sl990xp, I am a piano player and wanted the weighted hammer action and I am pretty happy with the new keyboard.
    Thanks for posting!

    Hi Andy,

This was very nice ... I really enjoyed it. It would be perfect to say a few prayers over! Very heartfelt.

    Regards,

    Frank
